ABOUT ME

Specialization and areas of interest

Insect physiologist interested in neural and endocrine control of insect development and behavior, with particular emphasis on structure, functions, and development of insect nervous system.
Recently has been working on glutamatergic regulation of juvenile hormone production, insect endocrinology under stress and taste perception in caterpillars.
Also, applied entomologist focused onto chemical ecology, insect growth regulators, reduction of insecticide use and biological timing of pesticide application.
